About The Author

I’m a husband, father, entrepreneur, passionate marketer, amateur chef and described by many as intense, tough, but fair.

My intention with this blog is to share my commitment and passion to help others realize increased ROI from their marketing initiatives. If you can’t measure it, don’t commit the dollars. It’s just that simple.

And if you talk with someone who says its impossible to measure marketing ROI, throw them out of your office … immediately.

I’m an advocate of making the marketing and advertising business accountable for what we recommend to clients.

And I believe that a simple pasta and good glass of wine can make any day better. Just try this:

Bring a salted pot to boil and add penne pasta. Cook until al dente.

Drain and in the same pot add a little butter, some olive oil, chopped garlic and add back the pasta.

Toss it with toasted pine nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped green onions, some diced, good prosciutto (Volpi), chopped fresh basil and Italian parsley. Add good, grated parmesan cheese.

Pour a glass of a nice wine … perhaps a Sangiovese. Enjoy

See that’s good marketing and I bet you’ll be able to measure the ROI. You feel better right? And it was worth it. Tell me how you enjoyed the pasta. cbarnes@thembcgroup.com

Here’s to measuring marketing and being accountable.

Best regards
